This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for the Planning Pod sites, subdomains and various related services (together referred to as the "site"). My Wedding Workbook, LLC, the provider of the site (referred to as "My Wedding Workbook", "us" or "we") encourages you to read this Privacy Policy carefully when using our website or services or transacting business with us or any third parties through our site.

You acknowledge that this Privacy Policy is part of our Terms and Conditions of Use with you, and by accessing or using our site, you agree to be bound by all of its terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use this site; by not agreeing to these terms, you will be unable to use this site or purchase any products or services offered on this site.

1. Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon notice thereof, which may be given by means including, but not limited to, issuing an e-mail to the primary e-mail address that you specified on your account or posting the revised Policy on this page. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to maintain a valid e-mail address as a registered user, review this site and this Policy periodically and to be aware of any modifications. Your continued use of the site after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by the modified Policy.

2. Types of Information Collected

General. We may collect personal information that can identify you such as your name, phone number, mailing address and e-mail address and other information that does not identify you. When you provide personal information through our site, over the phone, or by other means, the information may be sent to servers located in the United States and other countries around the world.

Information that the account owner provides about yourself. We may collect and store any personal information you enter on our site, provide to us by phone, or give to us in some other manner. This includes identifying information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). We also may request information about your interests and activities, your gender and age, your opinion about products and services that we offer, and other demographic and/or consumer information. Depending upon the activity, some of the information we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. Information from other sources. We may also periodically obtain both personal and non-personal information about you, the account owner, from our other businesses, business partners and third parties and add it to our account information or other information we have collected. Examples of information that we may receive include: updated delivery and address information, purchase history, and additional demographic information.

Information about the account owner's business. We may also collect and store information related to your business, including but not limited to the business name, business type/description, email address, telephone number, mailing address, account type and payment history.

Information added and stored in your account by you and your authorized parties. When you or your authorized parties add information to your account using the tools provided in our software, you are permitting us to store such information, which can include but is not limited to communications, messages, files, calendar events, tasks and lists, time tabulations, contracts, proposals, estimates, invoices and financial information. You may grant other people access to this information via your account; however, we will not share or otherwise disclose this information to any third parties except in the case of third-party payment processors needing specific information to approve or complete payment transactions, including but not limited to invoice payments or event registration/ticketing fees, that you or your customers have initiated.

Information about others. We may also collect and store personal information about other people that you, the account owner, or your authorized party provide to us. If you or your authorized party upload the personal and/or business information of others to our site via your account, invite others to use your account on our site, communicate with others via our site, upload or create lists of event guests or attendees, or use our site to share information with others, we may store the personal information of each such recipient. You may grant other people access to this information via your account; however, we will not share or otherwise disclose this information to any third parties except in the case of third-party payment processors needing specific information to approve or complete payment transactions, including but not limited to invoice payments or event registration/ticketing fees, that you or your customers have initiated.

Automatic Information Gathering: Cookies and Other Technologies. We automatically receive and record information through various technologies from your computer, browser and otherwise from and about your activities on our site including, but not limited to, the following:

Information collected automatically. We automatically collect information from your browser when you visit our site. This information may or can include your IP address, your browser type and language, access times, the content of any undeleted cookies that your browser previously accepted from us (see "Cookies" below), and the referring website address.

Cookies. When you visit our site, we may assign your computer one or more cookies to facilitate access to our site and to personalize your online experience. Information Collected by Third Parties. We may allow third parties, such as search engines, social media sites and ad networks, to collect information about visitors to and users of our website. Currently, we have deployed code tags for Google (including for Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Signals), LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to log when users view specific pages or take specific actions on our website and application. This process includes those third-parties' use of cookies and/or device identifiers to collect information on users' behavior on our website (which can be related to other user information available through those third parties) and/or to serve ads to users on their networks based on your past visits to our website. This enables us to provide targeted advertising to you in the future and to assess usage of our website by users in aggregate. If you do not wish to receive this type of advertising or wish to not have us collect this information via these third parties, you can opt out from Google (or log into your Google account and go to the My Activity area), LinkedIn and Facebook or use the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

3. Use and Disclosure of Information

We may use information that we collect about you and your business to:

* Manage your account and provide you with customer support;
* Perform research and analysis about your use of, or interest in, our products, services, or content for the purposes of improving our application and our overall service to you;
* Communicate with you by e-mail, postal mail, telephone and/or mobile devices about product updates and modifications as well as additional Planning Pod products or services that may be of interest to you;
* Verify your eligibility and deliver various products and services in connection with your use of the site;
* Enforce our terms and conditions;
* Enhance our site;
* Process payment for any purchases or sales made on our site or by phone, enroll you in any discount, rebate, and other programs in which you elect to participate, to pre-qualify you for payment processing services or credit card and other offers that you might find of interest, to protect against or identify possible fraudulent transactions;
* Perform functions as otherwise described to you at the time of collection; and
* Manage our business and as otherwise needed or desirable by us.

Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, if you provide us with access to the following types of your Google data, our use of that data will be subject to these additional restrictions:
* We will only use access to read, write, modify, or control Gmail message bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to provide a web email client that allows you and your users to compose, send, read, and process emails and will not transfer this Gmail data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets;
* We will not use this Gmail data for serving advertisements;
* We will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for the App's internal operations and even then only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.

We also may use, disclose or otherwise transfer and assign your information:
* In response to a subpoena or similar investigative demand, a court order, or a request for cooperation from a law enforcement or other government agency; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases, we may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us;
* When we believe disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing; to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of our company, our customers, our employees, or others; to comply with applicable law or cooperate with law enforcement; or to enforce our website terms and conditions or other agreements or policies;

4. Updating and Correcting Information

We believe you should have the ability to access and edit the information that you have provided to us. Please include your name, address, and/or e-mail address when you contact us.

We encourage you to promptly update your account information if it changes. You may ask to have the information on your account deleted or removed, and upon request we will delete your account information on our active servers. However, because we keep track of past transactions involving payments to us to maintain your account, you cannot delete information associated with past transactions with Planning Pod on this site. In addition, it may be impossible to completely delete your information without retaining some residual information because of backups.

5. User Choices on Collection and Use of Information

You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but that may result in you being unable to use certain features of our site or our other services because such information may be required in order for you to register as a subscriber; purchase products or services through our site or by phone; or initiate other transactions through us.

We may, from time to time, send you e-mail regarding our products and services. In addition, we may, from time to time, ask if you want to opt-in to receive offers or information from us, and if you opt-in we may occasionally send you e-mail, text messages and direct mail about products and services that we feel may be of interest to you.

At any time you can choose to no longer receive commercial or promotional e-mails or newsletters from us by updating your online opt-in preferences or requesting to opt-out of receiving these emails. You also will be given the opportunity, in any commercial e-mail that we send to you, to opt out of receiving such messages in the future. It may take up to 10 days for us to process an opt-out request. We may send you other types of transactional and relationship e-mail communications, such as service announcements, administrative notices and surveys, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them. Please note that changing information in your account, or otherwise opting out of receipt of promotional e-mail or text message communications will only affect future activities or communications from us.

6. Security of Information

We have instituted measures to help safeguard your personal information. For example, access by you to your account is available through a password and unique customer ID selected by you. This password is encrypted. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. In addition, you have the ability to grant employees, contractors, clients and other contacts access to your account; we recommend that you limit access to only those individuals whom you trust with your personal and business information. You can modify what information in your account these individuals can access in the "Settings" area of your account. Further, only authorized My Wedding Workbook employees are permitted to access personal information, and they may do so only for permitted business functions. In certain cases, we may also need to ask for your permission in order to view certain data, inlcuding but not limited to email and text communications contained in your account.

In order to most efficiently serve you, credit card transactions and order fulfillment are handled by established third-party banking, processing agents and distribution institutions. They receive the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card or other payment information and to process your order. In addition, when you use third-party payment processors to process credit card or ACH/e-Check payments via the Planning Pod site, those third parties will also receive the information needed to verify and authorize those transactions.

Unfortunately, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take many steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information, searches, or other communications will always remain secure. You should also take care with how you handle and disclose your personal information. As a result, you acknowledge and agree that our system may not be completely secure including, but not limited to the following: (a) there are security and privacy limitations of the Internet that are beyond our control; (b) the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this site cannot be guaranteed; (c) any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party and (d) you provide information to us at your sole risk.

When you use our site we will store cookies on your computer in order to facilitate and customize your use of our site. You must be at least 18 years old to have our permission to use this site. Our policy is that we do not knowingly collect, use or disclose any personal information about visitors that are under 18 years of age.

You should also be aware that when you voluntarily disclose information (i.e., your name, e-mail address, etc.) in any discussion forums, chat rooms, blogs or other public areas on this site, that information, along with any information disclosed in your communication, can be collected and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from third parties. Such activities are beyond our control and this Policy does not apply to such information. Any submissions to discussion forums, chat rooms, blogs or other public areas on this site are accepted with the understanding that they are accessible to all third parties.
